Roulette – The Probability Game
January 17th, 2016 by Admin
To me, roulette is a perfect example of the concept of probability. A wheel that is covered by numbers, with a ball spinning around it, that could land on any random area at any given time. The concept of probability stirs up a lot of controversy, especially when it comes to gambling. Is it possible to develop a winning system to beat probability? The short answer is no, because probablity is random and cannot be predicted. The long answer, however, is yes, because you can sometimes use probablity to your advantage, especially when it comes to the game of roulette. Heres how to use probability to win more often in the game of roulette.
Tip One – Place More Bets On Even Money Payout Gambles
Even money bets offer a larger chance of winning money. Chances for success are up to fifty per cent, as opposed to 1 in 37 (betting on single numbers on the European roulette table).
Tip Two – Wait For Sequences To Occur
If you see black, odd, or 1-18 occurring five or more times in a row, its time to start placing bets on the opposite result occurring. Although you will not win all of the time using this strategy, chances are that you are going to win more times than you lose. How often do you see black or red coming up more than six times in a row? It doesn’t happen very often.
Tip Three – Be Patient
The worst thing you could ever do in a gambling situation is lose your cool. If you get angry, anxious, or stressed, you are going to start placing stupid bets. If your emotions start to take over your reasoning, you will start to deviate from your betting plan, which will usually cost you all of your winnings.
Probability is not a straight forward science, however, it can certainly increase your chances of winning if approached in the correct way. Your aim is not to win all of the time, but to at least win more times than you lose. Increase your chances of success by turning probability into your friend, as opposed to your mortal enemy.
