How To Play Razz Poker

February 3rd, 2016 by Admin

There is a huge difference between winning razz poker and knowing just how to play. The first step of razz poker is learning the rules, but once that is done you can learn and use a winning strategy for razz poker.

The object to razz Poker is to get the worst hand possible in contrast to a usual high hand in poker. The best possible hand in razz poker is an ace, 2, 3, 4, 5 and is called a wheel. Aces are considered low and flushes and straights do not count against you.

A winning hand in razz is generally a 9 high or better. In order to decide the beginning hand selection, you need to see if your hand contains three cards that are a nine or below. The closer your hand is to the wheel, the better. If all three cards are in the wheel and you have an ace, this is the best option.

In razz poker, stealing blinds is very similar to bluffing, though there is more involved. The first thing that will help is to be in a late playing position. This way you can get a feel for the other player’s positions. Second, if you have a door card in your wheel, and no other player does, you will have an advantage. If your cards are right and the other players are folding, then raise your bet and steal the blinds.
A key element of your razz strategy is the ability to read your opponents. Reading the other players is not that difficult. A degree in psychology is not necessary, but a highly observant nature is, and can be developed with a little practice.

If you are only just learning to read players, choose a single opponent and watch their every move. Take note of their actions as well as their reactions. Does your opponent call from late or fold from an early position? How does the player act when another player raises? Does he bluff regularly? If you believe he does, call him and find out if you are right. Soon, you will be able to predict what he will do in most circumstances. Try and test him on this theory. See if you can predict his next play and see if you were correct. The more times you predict correctly, the better you will become at reading others and better able to see the types and behaviors of your opponents.

Using this knowledge will allow you to respond to the various types of players and their actions, and you will see more profitable results.

iPhone Casino Games

February 3rd, 2016 by Admin

Lately, iPhone casino games are all the rage. Scratch-n-win lotto, video poker, 3 card Monte, pachinko, slots, blackjack, money wheel… you name it, and the iPhone probably has it! Apple’s iPhone, which was launched in 2007, is a multimedia and internet enabled smart phone. The iPhone features visual voice mail, media player, wi-fi, web browsing, email and other features. It also has a virtual keypad and a multi-touch screen. Apple launched many popular applications in 2008, including games, GPS and social networking.

The clear sound, sharp graphics and touch screen make for an ideal phone for gaming. It’s no surprise that when the gaming application launched, it rapidly became popular, and iPhone casino games were the major player.

For iPhone casino games, there are two types. The first type is available through the iTunes application store where it can be downloaded and played for fun. The other type is the casino games that require the use of real money. The last type of game is called mobile gambling and it is creating some tough competition to physical gaming. In today’s world, mobile casino technology has come a long way from its Java based formats, and has turned into high tech visual wonders. So advanced in its looks and features, the iPhone casino makes it seem as though you are carrying a virtual casino around with you.

Another way that the iPhone casino can be used to gauge mobile gaming technology development is by observing how money transactions take place through the iPhone. In the beginning, there was no safe or reliable method to transfer money via a mobile phone. As a result, the gambling games were not preferred. However, now that there are software and applications that guarantee privacy and security during a money transaction, online gambling has seen a huge change.

You may be able to hit a jackpot by playing slot games on your iPhone. The beautiful part about mobile casinos is that you can play anywhere or anytime that you want to. Many games were designed with the voice quality and superior graphics of the iPhone kept in mind. The iPhone was developed as a multi-media smart phone, so when a casino game is played on it, it can appear detail oriented and very realistic.

Whether it is the latest slot games that feature favorite movies and music, or some of the more famous casino type games such as blackjack, roulette or poker, you will be able to play them all and quite easily on your iPhone casino. There is also an advantage to iPhone casino as well. The application can be run on just about any mobile device. If you do not own an iPhone yourself, it only needs to be designed correctly.

For those who want the experience of playing in Las Vegas but cannot, you now have the option of purchasing the iPhone and installing the casino app. It really is as simple as that, and then you will have mobile gaming in the palm of your hand!

Online Poker: A Gambling Revolution

February 2nd, 2016 by Admin

Poker, the game of the beginner’s luck and master’s skill, has called gamblers across the globe to compete in vast arenas dedicated to the sport; television channels now broadcast the event on multiple sports channels. And with the advent of the internet, a new casino has been formed: online poker appeals to those who would rather not trek all the way to Nevada to get a high-stakes game, and to those whose faces aren’t the solid stone of a professional player. Online games are based entirely on luck, since that famous ‘poker face’ doesn’t come into play when you can’t see your opponent.

The greatest online poker players use other signs to inform their choices…a specific betting pattern will often make itself clear from a specific opponent, and factors such as reaction time can give a clue as to the charisma of the other players. A large, quick bet, for example, could mean that a player is very sure of their hand…and this is where the game of bluff comes in. By faking these factors, increasing or decreasing reaction time, betting large or small, a good player can lead the others to believe exactly what they want their foes to believe.

The stakes at an online poker table can range from very small – some sites allow you to open with bets of one penny, after which you might accumulate your wealth to a healthy nickel or dime – to very large, thousand dollar sums gained over just a few minutes of expert play. Money is handled through a complex system of legal loopholes…although an act in 2006 prevented gambling sites from direct transfer to and from American financial institutions, sites deal with this obstacle by instructing players to transfer bank funds to an online “e-wallet,” which can then be accessed directly by the site.

Online poker games act in a myriad of different net locations, running under many different formats and types of software; an important part of their job is to ensure that no cheating is going on in their game rooms. Although it would at first seem impossible to cheat in an entirely electric event, problems arise when players begin to team up on their competition, under the assurance that they will split all profits. At first, this scam helped the dishonest rake in large amounts of cash from their online poker activity. Eventually, though, online poker software evolved to the point of effectively preventing this activity by automatically cross-referencing every player with common opponents, removing them from rooms in which they could be working with an accomplice.

There are hundreds of online poker sights, but it’s generally safest to go with the well-known organizations to ensure your security…just remember, even online it’s not a game of luck, and practice is absolutely vital to develop a good playing style.
